Welcome
The Moorooka Dojo is located at 21 Clifton St, Moorooka.
Aikido is a graceful Japanese martial art which aims to restore harmony to conflict situations and is not reliant on physical strength. Aikido is suitable for people of all ages and it provides benefits of positive energy, self-defence, empowerment and inner calm.
Students practice avoiding attacks, maintaining balance and using the attacker’s energy against them. Physical fitness is promoted with constant movements, defensive techniques and falling safely.
Instruction is delivered in a traditional way in a safe, non-competitive learning environment and we practice the dynamic self-defence in an atmosphere of friendship, mutual respect and joy of training.
